Big Releases For October 2026

So what movies are we seeing this year for Halloween;   Digger - Friday Not seeing this, no one's gonna make me. I'm quite surprised at its mixed reactions so far. It did just receive its RT score and it's not good. Maybe the audience will respond better, but right now it's hard to say. The Social Reckoning - Oct 9 Also not seeing this for reasons similar to Digger . I honestly see critics applauding this and the audience hating it, but that's just wishful thinking. And did The Social Network really need a sequel? Other Mommy - Oct 9 Seriously, I thought Coraline took care of this already😂! But yeah I'm most likely going to see this. It appears to be getting decent buzz from spectators so far, so I see this probably doing decently at the box-office. We'll see with critics. Whalefall - Oct 16 First he's stuck in a zombie apocalypse and now he gets eaten by a whale, Austin Abrams is having a rough year😂. I also intend on seeing this movie as well. I'...

Big Releases For September 2026

Let's take a look at September's movies, shall we; Fall 2: Deadpoint - Today I've seen the first one and it was VERY unsettling. I highly doubt this will be any different. Not quite sure how this will do with critics or the box-office considering the previous one didn't really need a sequel. But people remember the previous one quite fondly (me included) so you never really know. Practical Magic 2 - September 11 This also did not need a sequel, but I'm going to see it anyway. Maybe critics will be nicer to this one then they were to the previous one, but that's just a guess. I see the movie being fine at best and either doing decently at the box-office or completely bombing.  Resident Evil - September 18 Still debating on whether or not I want to see this. I loved Weapons last year, hence the reason why I'm at least taking this movie into consideration. Cregger has not done a movie that people have disliked since his very first, so I don't really see thi...

Big Releases For August 2026

July strangely went by pretty quickly. Let's get into August; One Night Only - Friday Rom-coms have kind of fizzled out over the years. I personally am not interested in this movie and have no intention in seeing it, unless it's bad. I'm not really sure how this will do in the box-office and I don't see critics loving this. I don't see them hating it either, but still   Tony - Friday I am intending on seeing this, even though I barely know anything about Anthony Bourdain aside from him being a chef and his unfortunate death. Dominic Sessa already impressed me in The Holdovers , hopefully he'll do that once again with this film. While I don't see this doing terribly with critics, you never really know these days. Not sure about it's box-office.   The End Of Oak Street - August 14 Is Anne Hathaway tired? She's had a BUTTLOAD of movies this year and is currently PREGNANGT! How Is She Not TIRED! Anyway, as of now I do intend on seeing this movie. I actua...

Big Releases For July 2026

July is kind of a big month for movies. So Let's Get Started;   Minions & Monsters - Today I do intend on seeing this movie. And considering this is the minions we're talking about, I think it's safe to say that this is going to EXPLODE at the box-office. To my surprise, critics appear to like this film. I don't want to say I now have high hopes for this film, but I am curious now   Young Washington - Friday Obviously perfect timing for Independence Day. I am going to see this as well. It is currently getting lukewarm reviews, but I personally think that I am going to like it. And I'm not just saying that because it's Angel Studios (especially considering Animal Farm 👎🏾). We'll see with its box-office.   Moana - July 10 I've had enough of these crappy remakes from Disney, I'm not seeing this mess. Audiences do look annoyed with this film, however people were also annoyed with Lilo & Stitch  and it was a box-office hit. I would not be surpri...

Big Releases For June 2026

New month, new movies;   Masters Of The Universe - Friday This to me looks kind of stupid, but I'm still interested in seeing it. Granted, I don't expect it to actually be good, but maybe it'll prove me wrong. Part of me does think it might do well with audiences, but you never really know. As for critics, I have no idea.   Scary Movie - Friday I'm not seeing this. I've seen at least one trailer and found it annoying, so I'll give this a pass. I've also seen at least 2 movies in this franchise. Both were idiotic in a good way. I do see this also doing well at the box office, though I'm not super sure with critics.   Disclosure Day - June 12 I'm also not seeing this as I don't trust the possibly toxic messaging that I'm assuming it will send towards anyone like me. Because this is Steven Spielberg, this is probably gonna do fine with critics. But the box-office is up in the air.   Toy Story 5 - Juneteenth (June 19) Also not seeing this. I have...

Big Releases For May 2026

Will I be receiving good movies for my birthday? Let's take a look;   The Devil Wears Prada 2 - Today This is pretty much going to be a ladies day for my family. My mom, sister and aunt are HUGE fans of the original movie, so of course the ladies are going to see it. Me included. Critics appear to be cool with the movie and the audience seems to agree. And I do see this being a draw at the box-office considering the impact of the original.   Mortal Kombat II - May 8 I've never seen any of the previous Mortal Kombat  movies, nor am I a game person. So it should come as no surprise that I have zero interest in seeing this movie. It is to my understanding that most of the Mortal Kombat movies have not been well received, so why on earth would this one be any different? I do see this doing well at the box-office though The Sheep Detectives - May 8 To my surprise (and slight disturbance), critics actually like this for reasons I will never understand. I guess we'll see how the...

Big Releases For April 2026

So what does April have in store for us this year? Let's find out; The Super Mario Galaxy Movie - Today The audience reaction for this particular film is more important than the critics', who have already started hating on this film. I do believe that this movie will DESTROY the box-office just like the previous one. This is one of 3 movies this year that I am not allowed to see without my sister.   The Drama - April 3 Right now critics appear to be fine with this movie, but they do not seem to favor it. It looks fine to me and I do intend on seeing this, but I do not expect it to be amazing. I'm also not really sure how this will do in the box-office either. I guess we'll see. Lee Cronin's The Mummy - April 17 Part of me actually does want to see this, but another part of me is skeptical. I'm not really sure where critics or the audience will stand on this. It definitely looks creepy enough, but that does not mean it will live up to the hype.   Michael - April ...

Big Releases For March 2026

Okay, March's turn;   Hoppers - Friday To my surprise, critics currently think very highly of this movie already. It's got a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes . Still waiting on the audience score though. I think the movie looks ridiculous in a good way and I do see parents bringing their kids to see this. I intend on seeing this as well.   The Bride - Friday This looks very freaky. I'm currently conflicted on whether or not I want to see this. But hey if I can make it through Frankenstein and like it, then I can do the same with his baby mama. I honestly do see critics liking this since they like a lot of weird stuff. We'll see how the audience feels.   Reminders Of Him - March 13 I think Collen Hover is slowly but surely becoming the new Nicholas Sparks, which is a problem. I am dead sure that critics are going to rip this movie into a billion pieces. Audiences however might be a mixed bag. With that being said, I'm not seeing this mess.    Project Hail Mary - March...

Big Releases For February 2026

For some strange reason, at least 3 of the biggest releases of the month come out on the same day. So With the exception of 1 movie, I will be speaking on these movies on the possible order I will see them in;   Goat - February 13 If anything, I'm most likely going to see this first, probably because this is the movie I'm worried for the most. So far it looks cool, but looks can be deceiving. I don't see this bombing at the box-office, but I don't see it being a draw either. Same goes with critics. For Spider-Verse 's sake (same studio), I really hope this movie is good.   Wuthering Heights - February 13 Everybody and their mothers are already hating on this movie. From Jacob Elordi's supposedly whitewashed casting, to the fake romance between him and Robbie, literally everyone has had something to say about this movie and most of it isn't good. Now don't get me wrong, I'm going to see this and the movie itself looks fine to me. I would also take  Em...
