No One Gave Jax A Break

If you have not read my review of "Sons Of Anarchy" please due so through the shared link on Facebook. The link will also be seen at the bottom of this post. Jax Teller serves as the main character of the FX series, and I feel like he is very misunderstood. I mentioned in the review that I would express my thoughts on Jax, so here they are. Jax originally served as the Vice President of SAMCRO before becoming President after Clay's downfall. His initial intention was to "change" the club for the better, though it eventually reached a point where he tried to leave the club. The show also reaches a point where Jax just gives into his inner demons and becomes a colder person. I feel like no one gave enough room for a change. And the few people who did, still didn't make it easy for Jax to change. Literally everything he did, somebody complained about it.  It also did not help that he was surrounded by so many voices. If Clay wanted this, Opie wanted that. If ...

I Get It Now

So for our next binge-watching assignment, me and my aunt agreed to watch at least 3 episodes of critically acclaimed series "Breaking Bad".  "Breaking Bad" focuses on Walter White, a down on his luck high school teacher who becomes  even more unlucky when he is diagnosed with lung cancer. It should come as no surprise that money was a concern for him considering he's underpaid, works part-time at a car wash, his wife Skyler was pregnant and their son has Cerebral Palsy.  After going on a ride along with his DEA agent brother-in-law, Walt spots former student Jesse Pinkman trying to flee. He later blackmails him into becoming his partner in making meth under the alias "Heisenberg" to provide for his family. While that was the goal at first, he slowly grew more insane and became more corrupt as the series progressed. I was well aware of the hype that surrounded the series. Not from my family, but from other sources, starting with "Watchmojo"...

SOA Was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (But also stressful)

My aunt challenged me to watch at least 1 episode of the FX drama series "Sons Of Anarchy". This series was (and still is) severely popular with many many people, including almost my entire family. So, was it worth the hype? A modern retelling of "Hamlet", the series centers on Jackson "Jax" Teller, who served as vice president (eventually president) of the criminal motorcycle club known as Sons Of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original (or SAMCRO for short, though I normally refer to them as "The Sons"). The club was originally found by his late father John "J.T." Teller, along side his wife Gemma who remarried current club president Clay (he was a special case). As he participates in various illegal activities for the good of the club, Jax struggles with who he wants to be while balancing club duties with his relationships, notably his slightly annoying love interest, Tara (I Will FIGHT YOU). I was only supposed to watch 1 episod...

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special

Hello. Now another thing I have decided to do on the site is post my thoughts on almost every new movie and tv show that I see. I'm not going to rank it or anything, just simply discuss the plot and how I feel about the subject as a whole. This was one of the first new things I have seen since starting the website.  Plot So since Gamora's passing, Peter Quill has been a little depressed. It also doesn't help that it's Christmas time and that was completely ruined by Yondu when Peter was a child. To cheer him up, Mantis wants to get him a Christmas present, which is great unless you let Drax decide the present. He decided that the perfect present for Peter is to kidnap his childhood hero Kevin Bacon. And there sets in motion various hijinks that include Mantis getting drunk probably for the first time, and Drax oddly getting tickled by bullets. Mr. Bacon is understandably horrified by this encounter until Mantis mind controls him with her powers. These 2 morons were un...
