Big Releases For April 2026

So what does April have in store for us this year? Let's find out;

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie- Today
The audience reaction for this particular film is more important than the critics', who have already started hating on this film. I do believe that this movie will DESTROY the box-office just like the previous one. This is one of 3 movies this year that I am not allowed to see without my sister.

 The Drama- April 3
Right now critics appear to be fine with this movie, but they do not seem to favor it. It looks fine to me and I do intend on seeing this, but I do not expect it to be amazing. I'm also not really sure how this will do in the box-office either. I guess we'll see.

Lee Cronin's The Mummy- April 17
Part of me actually does want to see this, but another part of me is skeptical. I'm not really sure where critics or the audience will stand on this. It definitely looks creepy enough, but that does not mean it will live up to the hype.

 Michael- April 24
Pretty much my entire family is going to see this. I do want this to be good and I do like the director for this as he is responsible for Training Day and the Equalizer movies. But I do still have my doubts. I would not be surprised if critics looked at this in a similar manor to Elvis. I do see this being a box-office draw considering this is Michael Jackson we're talking about. If this movie fails, it will face the wrath of God and moonwalkers.

Last Minute Music Reviews

  So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
