Another Billboard ; Secular Music; Dai Dai - Shakira & Burna Boy https://naesnotlikeyou.blogspot.com/2026/07/todays-billboard.html   Open My Eyes - Ron Carter & Ricky Dillard The song was fine enough. I appreciate that it was a relatively traditional gospel song with strong harmonies (like pretty much all of Dillard' s library). But overall the song is nothing really special. It's enjoyable enough, but not amazing in any way. Today's Billboard

This Week on Billboard ;   Dai Dai - Shakira & Burna Boy We're in the middle of the World Cup, what do you expect? Plus Shakira has a knack for creating hit songs for the World Cup with Dare being my favorite. This song is fun enough, but nothing special for me personally.   Right There - Lasha Knox Ft. Earnest Pugh I liked this more than I expected. The melody of the chorus is my favorite thing about the song as well as it's inversion (albeit short). Knox didn't do much to elevate the song, but overall a pleasant surprise. Well done. Another Billboard

Pretty self-explanatory;   Dracula - Tame Impala First off; perfect song for Halloween. Second; I found the song to be slightly cheesy. I'm still deciding if that's a bad thing or a good thing. I think overall I have mixed feelings for this song. Not sure if I like it, though I'm not sure if I hate it either.   Worthy Of It All (Worthy) - Cece Winans This song was actually on Cece's album  Believe For It  5 years ago. Considering my church has covered it a few times, I'm guessing the song got pretty popular in its own right for Cece to re-do it. I've already loved this song, and its crossover with Elevation Worship's Worthy works very well with it.  Thanks For Reading Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/naomi.chadwick.58/ X-@ChadwickNa28887 Email-naenotlikeyou@gmail.com Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/ihearttop123/ YouTube Playlist (Secular)- Link YouTube Playlist (Worship)- Link

This Week On Billboard

I present to you, another Billboard ; Secular Music; Stupid Song - Olivia Rodrigo https://naesnotlikeyou.blogspot.com/2026/06/another-billboard.html   Washed - Elevation Rhythm I thought the song was so-so at best. I found the chorus to be relatively lackluster. I did actually like the bridge, though I will admit that it's not super special. The song is joyful, but I've heard better in terms of joyful worship songs (this year included) Thanks For Reading Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/naomi.chadwick.58/ X-@ChadwickNa28887 Email-naenotlikeyou@gmail.com Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/ihearttop123/ YouTube Playlist (Secular)- Link YouTube Playlist (Worship)- Link

Another Billboard

Another week of Billboard ;   Stupid Song - Olivia Rodrigo For me this song sounds like some type of opposite version of vampire . And I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It's that the arrangement of the chorus to me sounds relatively similar to  vampire . Overall, the song was fine.   Good - Matthew West I'm alright with this song. It's nothing amazing, but I will admit that the lyrics are relatively nice. For some reason the opening melody sounds like Hey There Delilah . And I HATE that song. Granted, this song for me is decent.  Thanks For Reading Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/naomi.chadwick.58/ X-@ChadwickNa28887 Email-naenotlikeyou@gmail.com Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/ihearttop123/ YouTube Playlist (Secular)- Link YouTube Playlist (Worship)- Link

Billboard

It's time for today's Billboard ; I Knew It, I Knew You - Taylor Swift Never thought I'd hear Taylor do a country song again. The song itself was fine, It was cute enough for Toy Story . But for me the song just lacks the charm that the first few songs of the franchise had that made people feel nostalgic or tugged at your heartstrings. And this is coming from someone who's not the biggest fan of You Got A Friend In Me . It just feels burned out at this point.   Jesus I Do - Mariah Carey Ft. The Clark Sisters This was actually #1 on the Gospel Airplay chart about a month ago. I've been wanting to review it but other songs just kept popping up and eventually I just got impatient. I wanted to love this song, but in my opinion it didn't really find its groove until the bridge. Though its strongest aspect was without a doubt the harmonies. But considering Mariah Carey collaborating with the Clark Sisters sounds like heaven for me, I just expected more. Though this wa...

You know the drill;   Hate That I Made You Love Me - Ariana Grande I'm not really sure what I think of this song to be honest, aside from Grande's done better. And I will admit due to all her drama with Ethan Slater, I'm not a fan of the lyrics. Other than that, the song is just meh for me personally.   God I'm Just Grateful - Elevation Worship Ft. Chandler Moore My church has done this song before so I'm already very familiar with it. Though I'm not the biggest fan of the song, the lyrics are very powerful and I do see them bringing people closer to Jesus. They are also slightly personal for reasons I would rather not disclose. Another week of Billboard ; Secular Music; Janice STFU-  Drake https://naesnotlikeyou.blogspot.com/2026/06/more-billboard.html Holy You  (FrĒligious) - Drake The song could be a bit too much at times, but overall it was a nice listen. Like most of Tye Tribbett's library, the song will get you moving for Jesus. And I enjoyed the reggae beat of the song. I also like its take on the word "religious", kind of creative. Not great (Tye's done better), but decent enough. Another week of Billboard ;   Janice STFU - Drake For starters, I like the beat. The song itself has nice production. I'm not surprised at all that Drake took a jab at Kendrick considering the latter's humiliating defeat in 2024 going into 2025. Though I'm not exactly sure if I would call it effective yet. It depends on what my sister says (who's team Kendrick).   Jesus Is Alive - Forrest Frank This song is not perfect but it is however WAY better than it has any right to be. I like that its got charisma while spreading the good news of the Lord. And like the previous song, it also has a nice beat. My only flaw with it is that its way too short. 2 mins, seriously Forrest?😒🤦🏾‍♀️ Thanks For Reading Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/naomi.chadwick.58/ X-@ChadwickNa28887 Email-naenotlikeyou@gmail.com Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/ihearttop123/ YouTube Playlist (Secular)- Link YouTube Playlist (Worship)- Link

Self-explanatory; Secular Music; Choosin' Texas - Ella Langley https://naesnotlikeyou.blogspot.com/2026/02/todays-billboard.html   Demons - Josiah Queen I'll take it or leave it. It's not terrible or boring (to my surprise), but it's not necessarily great either. In terms of both the lyrics and the melody of the chorus, the song as a whole is just average for me personally. Thanks For Reading Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/naomi.chadwick.58/ X-@ChadwickNa28887 Email-naenotlikeyou@gmail.com Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/ihearttop123/ YouTube Playlist (Secular)- Link YouTube Playlist (Worship)- Link

Some More Billboard

I have another Billboard commentary for ya'll; Secular Music; Choosin' Texas - Ella Langley https://naesnotlikeyou.blogspot.com/2026/02/todays-billboard.html   Where Would I Be - Peter Burton I actually kind of liked it. It was not amazing by any means, but I felt the joy Burton had for the Lord in this song. I also liked the hook ' Where Would I Be If I Didn't Have Jesus? Thank God, Thank God, Thank God I'll Never Know '. It's basically saying he doesn't care where he would be without Jesus, he just knows it would not have been good. So he'd rather not find out. Nice song. What does Billboard have to offer this week?;   So Easy (To Fall In Love )- Olivia Dean I don't love this song but I really enjoyed Dean's vocal delivery, the production and the melody of the chorus. I don't see myself listening to this on a daily basis, but I definitely like this more than Man I Need . Worship Music; Turn It Around - Pastor Mike Jr. https://naesnotlikeyou.blogspot.com/2026/05/today-on-billboard.html Thanks For Reading Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/naomi.chadwick.58/ X-@ChadwickNa28887 Email-naenotlikeyou@gmail.com Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/ihearttop123/ YouTube Playlist (Secular)-  Link YouTube Playlist (Worship)- Link

Today On Billboard

Another week of Billboard ;   Drop Dead - Olivia Rodrigo This was more "cutesy" than I expected. That's not a complaint, I just didn't expect the track to be that type of song. But overall I'm fine with this. I don't see myself listening to this again, but I don't hate this either.   Turn It Around - Pastor Mike Jr. Pastor Mike Jr. strikes again with another joyous tune. I have similar feelings for this track as well. I'm fine with it but it will indeed make you smile and bring you joy for Jesus. But I don't really see myself listening to this again either.  Thanks For Reading Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/naomi.chadwick.58/ X-@ChadwickNa28887 Email-naenotlikeyou@gmail.com Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/ihearttop123/ YouTube Playlist (Secular)-  Link YouTube Playlist (Worship)- Link

Returning Billboard

Billboard is back after lack of new material last week; Secular Music;  Choosin' Texas - Ella Langley https://naesnotlikeyou.blogspot.com/2026/02/todays-billboard.html   In The Room - James Fortune I apologize for being a hater, but this is another gospel song that tries too hard to be modern. Now if the song speaks to you, that's great. It means that the song did its job in bringing people closer to God. But I personally am not the biggest fan on this song. Another Billboard

Today's Billboard ; Secular Music; Choosin' Texas - Ella Langley https://naesnotlikeyou.blogspot.com/2026/02/todays-billboard.html   Mercy Endureth - EJ Fields The song was decent for what it was. It was nothing special, but it wasn't bad either. The hook is slightly generic but it's not any worse then most CCM songs. I'll take or leave the song as a hole. Decent enough, that's it.  Thanks For Reading Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/naomi.chadwick.58/ X-@ChadwickNa28887 Email-naenotlikeyou@gmail.com Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/ihearttop123/ YouTube Playlist (Secular)-  Link YouTube Playlist (Worship)- Link

Billboard

You know the drill;   Swim - BTS I'll take it or leave it. I do not see myself listening to this on a daily basis at all, but it's not even close to the worst thing ever either. I actually did like the chorus, I just didn't necessarily love it. Overall, I'm fine with the song.   Live Breathe Fight - Tamela Mann Same with this one, Tamela's done better. Like always, vocally she's on point. But other than that, nothing about this song really stands out. However it's not super terrible either. Tamela's just done way better than this.     Thanks For Reading. This week on Billboard ;   Stateside -  PinkPantheress & Zara Larsson This was not my favorite to be honest. It's not terrible or anything as this is certainly a fun song. Plus I think it's nice that Zara Larsson is getting more attention. But ultimately this song just did not click with me. Maybe it will in the future   Homesick For Heaven - Phil Wickham The best thing about this song is its joyful vibe and it's a nice reminder that this is not our permanent home. With that being said, I do not see myself listening to this again. But I do recommend it, which is rare for me. This Week On Billboard ;   American Girls - Harry Styles And Mr. Styles returns for more. I strangely like this one. The piano melody is what mainly hooks me to the song, and the chorus sticks out for me as well. I don't necessarily dislike Aperture , but I definitely like this song better.    On The Way - Adia I have mixed feelings for this one. Because It has negative aspects such as trying to hard to be modern. But I can't fully hate it either because I like the melody of the track's chorus. So I guess I would categorize this song as 'take it or leave it'. Returning Billboard

Billboard returns after a week;   Risk It All - Bruno Mars I actually kind of liked this one. Bruno pretty much leaned into his original hopeless romantic-like vibe for this one. Like always, his vocals were on point and the use of a mariachi band gave the song a nostalgic feel for me personally. This was a good one, and I definitely liked it more than I Just Might .   Heaven On My Mind - TobyMac & Forrest Frank I didn't really like this one. It was trying to be poppy with Christian lyrics and it just felt bland. It's disappointing knowing how impressed I was with You're Way's Better and I've known about TobyMac since childhood. Not that I had high expectations for this, it's just that at the same time I would've liked this to be better. Billboard

Billboard ;   Opalite - Taylor Swift I don't know how I feel about this. This song just comes off as bland. I know others appear to like this song, but I just do not connect to it. And Swift has done better which a lot people know, this is just boring in comparison   Do It Again - James Grear Ft. Darrel Walls What is with worship artists and songs called "Do It Again"? The melody is actually decent. But other than that, not much about the song sticks out for me. Most of the time, Walls (I think) is just asking God to, well "Do It Again" (He most likely won't). That's pretty much it.
