BAFTA Final Thoughts

So the awards race starts back up tomorrow with the BAFTAs. Unlike the last 2 awards, I won't be able to watch this one as I have no access to the show. So I have to look up the results online. I still don't want to say that Austin's a front runner, but we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Deadpool: Marvel's Favorite Idiot

  Deadpool & Wolverine was probably the most anticipated movie of the year. With Disney taking over Fox and Deadpool joining the MCU , the time has finally come for the finishing result. Wade Wilson (portrayed of course by Ryan Reynolds) is offered to be taken out of his dimension in favor of the MCU. The only problem is his dimension is in the process of disintegration after the evens of Logan (😢) and Tom Wambsgans- I mean Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) decides to end its misery and destroy it instead of waiting for the inevitable. Obviously this doesn't sit well with Wade, so he turns to a more incompetent version of Wolverine (one deemed the "worst" Wolverine) to help save his dimension.  This movie was exactly what a Deadpool movie needs to be, stupid as HELL. First Day Of 2024/2025 Awards Race

  It is about that time of year again where Hollywood gives out its most prestigious awards to most of the time the least deserving. But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna pay attention like always. But this year we will be shaking things up a little. Allow me to explain; Here's How This Works: Each year, I will have a target subject I'm rooting for this season. When the nominations for each award show are announced, I will do a small commentary on whether or not the subject has a chance of winning. However, this year instead of focusing on just the target, I will also be focusing on those I think are frontrunners in different categories for the season as a whole, whether I'm rooting for them or not.  I will most likely say a last minute thought the day before the award show. American Idol 2025 Thoughts: Day 1

  American Idol  has officially reached its live shows so that means it's time to start the commentaries. For those of you who didn't track these last year, here's an explanation; I will be saying my thoughts on the contestants and their performances.
