Well That Was Brutal 😳

The Bikeriders finally came out last week after being delayed and switching distributers less than a year ago. Basically the movie version of Sons Of Anarchy (but a little bit more brutal), the film centers on a motorcycle club known as the Vandals. And things get very very ugly.

The movie was great, and probably the most brutal movie I've seen all year. A good majority of these scenes were so hard to watch (physically and emotionally). Whether it's someone (mostly Austin's character Benny) taking a beating or other disturbing shenanigans. The dynamic in the club in my opinion is slightly less loving than SOA. While there is loyalty and care for one another in the club, I feel like they were slightly more reckless then SAMCRO. Not only within the club, but outside as well. The newer members in particular were kind of cruel, especially in an incident involving Jodie Comer's character Kathy. Though I will say that Tom Hardy's Johnny (the leader) is less sadistic than Clay; albeit he did make some questionable choices. There was also somewhat of an unexpected twist in the movie as well.

The acting was good. Hardy embraced his inner Marlon Brando while Austin embraced his inner James Dean (which is perfect considering he's often compared to Dean). Jodie Comer was also good. Actually, her and Austin pulled off an accent EXTREMELY well, Comer especially. I'm surprised by those two because Comer is obviously British (so braking that might not be easy) and Austin has now played with his voice and succeeded 3 times. Hardy (who also had an accent) was the best out of everybody. I found him kind of creepy but also redeemable.

I really liked this movie. But brace yourself for some messed up moments. Thanks For Reading.

Last Minute Music Reviews

So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
