Sense And Sensibility is yet another film adaptation of the Jane Austen book of the same name, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones (whom I mainly know from Twisters). Meanwhile, 72 Hours is a Netflix comedy centering around Kevin Hart trying WAAAY too hard to recapture his youth by crashing some random dude's bachelor party.
72 Hours

This movie might be worse than The Runner. Literally two seconds into the movie, it immediately got stupid. The jokes were either trying to hard or just didn't work. The so-called "villain" of the movie was lame and cheesy, there was an unresolved conflict, and the mid-life crisis storyline felt watered down. You can tell the movie was relying on Kevin Hart being Kevin Hart. That was pretty much the movie in a nutshell, and it wasn't an enjoyable experience.
Sense And Sensibility

The movie was decent. Granted, it's also relatively bland, and another adaptation of this book was not needed and unnecessary. However, the performances were solid, the production design was satisfactory and the score was very beautiful. This is my first time watching a Sense And Sensibility movie, and I suppose this was a fine introduction to the story. And I did find myself rooting for these characters, so I guess that's a thumbs up. But overall, the movie's nothing special.
