I really liked this movie. It did remind me of Oppenheimer, granted they both centered around notable milestones during WW2. What I love the most about this movie is that you could literally feel the tension from everyone and everything in the days leading up to D-Day. I could only imagine the amount of pressure (no pun intended) everyone felt during those days. The acting was pretty solid and the cinematography was gorgeous (though not as good as Project Hail Mary's).
My only issue with the movie is that I feel like we only witnessed the surface of how good this movie was. Don't get me wrong, the movie was still good. But I feel like it had the tools to be great that it did not fully use. Did I expect this to be as good as Oppenheimer, HELL NO! And it sure as Hell wasn't going to be as LONG as Oppenheimer. But due to certain moments in the film that I felt like either could've been drawn out or touched upon a little bit more (especially towards the end), I wonder if this movie could've been amazing.
Regardless, I do highly recommend this movie. Thanks For Reading.
