Based on the web series of the same name, Backrooms centers on a failed architect not feeling to great about life after a divorce. He then finds a dimension in his store basement that only consists of endless office-like rooms. Eventually his therapist, who's dealing with some trauma of her own, enters in an effort to find him.
I not sure if I fully understood this movie as I'm not as impressed with this as others. I'm not saying that the movie is bad, far from that actually. It was able to capture the creep factor of the original series. That was probably the best part about the movie. But I personally was not super impressed with the ending climax. I actually found it slightly underwhelming and I wasn't exactly sure what was going on.
But I'm not in any way trying to downplay the movie. I think it just wasn't for me, and that's okay. Thanks For Reading.
