Big Releases For January 2026

Happy New Year! Let's see the first movies 2026 has to offer;

 Primate- January 9
I've seen quite a few promos for this and critics are already applauding this movie. I might go see it out of curiosity. With that being said, I'm not really sure how this will do in the box-office. I guess we'll see

 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple- January 16
Considering I have not seen the first 3 movies, it should not come as a surprise that I have no intention in seeing this one. This is probably gonna do decently at the box-office and I haven't really seen critics start hating on this franchise yet. So I doubt this will be any different.

 Mercy- January 23
I do not really see critics loving this. I don't see them hating it either, but it's early in the year and most early releases are lackluster. I do intend on seeing this solely for Chris Pratt. I'm not really sure how this will do in the box-office either.

 Send Help- January 30
Not sure if I wanna see this. And if I do, it is because I have a soft spot for Dylan O'Brien. It's hard to say on how well this will do with critics and the box-office. Because I know people like Sam Raimi (the director), but the last movie he did was Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which got mixed reviews. So I don't know what to think with this.

Thanks For Reading.

Last Minute Music Reviews

  So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
