Hilariously Stupid (In A Bad Way)🤣

I've heard nothing but terrible things about this movie. I watched it knowing it was gonna be bad, and I decided to have my mother suffer through it with me while she was doing my hair. The film focuses on Ice Cube, who plays some government hacker dude trying to find this cyber-terrorist called "The Disrupter" when all of a sudden aliens invade Earth.

This movie was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. Pretty much everything about it was not good; the acting was non-existent, the found-footage concept was wasted, and the visuals look like something you'd see in a high school project. I know this was made during COVID, and that really, REALLY, shows in this movie. I've never seen Ice Cube as an amazing actor, but he's often entertaining onscreen. But he's just straight up BAD in this. When he's barely even trying with his reactions, he's sounding too gangster and quoting Ludacris. Everyone else's acting pretty much sucked as well, and the plot twist involving the "Disrupter" was kind of lame.

I've also heard a lot of complaints about product placement, particularly from Amazon considering this is an Amazon movie. They're not wrong, Amazon basically went out of its way to be the saviors of the movie. Though that wasn't the worst thing about the movie, it was still pretty stupid.

My mom is now angry with me for making her watch this movie. That alone should pretty much explain the stupidity of this film. Thanks For Reading.

Last Minute Music Reviews

So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
