Big Releases For September 2025

You know the drill;

The Conjuring: Last Rites- September 5

Did not see the first few movies and I sure as Hell ain't seeing this. Again, religious horror is not my thing. Audiences are definitely  going to see it given its long history of popularity. Same goes with critics as well.

 The Long Walk- September 12

Honestly, this looks promising in terms of the trailers. But at the same time, I don't want to jinx it. I do intend on seeing this movie and I'm not really sure about how it will do in the box-office or with critics.

 Him- September 19

I am NOT seeing this. It looks disturbing and I'm not a fan of Jordan Peele (who's the producer for this film). While I do see critics liking this, I'm not really sure where the audiences stands.

 One Battle After Another- September 26

I do not know if I want to see this yet. But I will point out that its director has a pretty good track record in terms of movies. I do not expect this to be a box-office draw. Critics might be okay with it.

Thanks For Reading.

American Idol 2025 Thoughts: Day 1

  American Idol  has officially reached its live shows so that means it's time to start the commentaries. For those of you who didn't track these last year, here's an explanation; I will be saying my thoughts on the contestants and their performances. In typical 'me' fashion, I will rank each performance to #1. But unlike my normal lists, this will be from worst to best.  This will be starting the following week as today is just an introduction. Our Top 24 has been chosen and they are as follows;     Canaan James Hill (Platinum)             Gabby Simone  Zaylie Windsor                         Mattie Pruitt  Thunderstorm Artis                  Drew Ryn  Che                                     ...

Introduction

Bio My name is Naomi Marie Elidios Chadwick. I was born in San Diego, California, but I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I pretty much have a traditional family, which involves happily married parents, 1 younger sister, and an older brother. I was raised Christian, and I continue to practice Christianity to this day. This is not a spiritual blog but some of the content that I post is influenced by my faith. Every now and then I will post Christian content as well, just not always (except with Billboard ). The picture you see up above is me at the airport with my father after I graduated from AmeriCorps NCCC after 10 months of community service. In response I received a congressional award for community service. I've always been really proud of that. I was diagnosed with Asperger's (a form of Autism) around the age of 6, but I was not informed of my diagnosis until I was 12. I'm very into movies and television (animation especially), and pop culture as a whole, and I...

My Top 10 Best Movies Of 2024 (Part 2)

  So, now it’s time for the best list. This is obviously a list of what is in my opinion, the best movies of 2024. Before anything else, just a quick reminder that I have chosen not to review or rank the films  Mary  &  Dune: Part Two   due to my conflicting feelings on them. So you won’t see either of those 2 on this list. If you would like an explanation for 1 or both movies, there are 2 links down below. If there’s an acclaimed movie you were expecting to see on this list that you didn’t see, check out my “Movies You Won’t See” post through the link down below.  #10:  The Bikeriders God-honest truth, the main reason I saw this movie is because of my soft spot for Austin Butler. Though definitely not the strongest movie, this was really good. Its strong points were the performances and the twists. While Austin wasn’t THE standout, he did do a really good job and truly embraced his inner James Dean. The standout however was indeed Tom Ha...
