Yay, It Doesn't Suck!

I personally have a soft spot for the original Fantastic Four films. I loved them dearly and I still do to this day. I have never seen the 2015 version, and judging by what I've heard about it, that's probably for the best. I had mixed feelings towards this movie upon learning of its existence, especially after some inaccurate rumors. The film obviously centers on the titular characters as they attempt to save their world from Galactus and his minion, the Silver Surfer.

I really liked it. The dynamic between the four felt natural and unforced. Pascal and Kirby were actually kind of sweet, Moss-Bachrach was likable enough, and Quinn was a moron with a few surprises up his sleeve. The 1950/60s but futuristic vibe was definitely one of the films biggest highlights, the visuals were GORGEOUS, and the film did leave me wanting more. I didn't think much of Galactus until the baby was born. The reason why does include spoilers so go see the film yourself.

Dislikes; the movie surprisingly left Shalla-Bal underdeveloped. And I call that a surprise because pretty much everything else in the film seemed balanced while Shalla-Bal felt like she was just thrown in there "just because". Julia Garner did the best with what she worked with, and I liked that she had a connection with Johnny. But that was pretty much the most intriguing thing about her. Other than that, she was just......there.

But aside from that, this movie for me was a huge thumbs up. I don't know if I like it more than the originals yet. But regardless, I was very impressed and I look forward to seeing these characters again in Doomsday. Thanks For Reading

Last Minute Music Reviews

So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
