Big Releases For April 2025

Easter is almost here. And so are these movies;

A Minecraft Movie- April 4

This is most likely gonna crash and burn considering this film is in a situation similar to Snow White being that people are complaining about it for simply existing. For good reason too, the movie looks incredibly stupid. Jack Black is not a particularly intelligent man, most of his projects are stupid and this is no exception. I have no intention in losing braincells over this and I will not be surprised if this tanks with the box-office or the critics.

 The Amateur- April 11

I originally was not going to speak on this one, but I kept seeing more and more commercials on it. I'm relatively mixed on whether or not I wanna see this as well as the possible reaction to critics and audiences. We'll see how I feel once it comes out, but I will say it's a no for now.

 Drop- April 11

Drop actually looks kind of cool. I've been seeing promos on it for a while and critics are already recommending it. We'll see what happens with its box-office, but I do see people (possibly women) going to see this with their friends maybe. But that's just how I look at it.

 The King Of Kings- April 11

If this movie is not good or at least respectful, I will be PISSED OFF😡! However, I should also keep in mind that this is from the same studio behind Sound Of Freedom and more importantly The Chosen (which is kicking serious butt right now), so we might be okay. I do not expect critics to like this at all. But with The Chosen doing so well with its box-office currently, I wouldn't be surprised if this has a similar result. Yes I'm going to see this but I need someone to come with me.

 Sinners- April 18

This movie is also somewhat of a dice-roll. I don't see it flopping, but I don't see it being a favorite either, especially with the box-office since it's more than obvious that star power doesn't really matter anymore. I do not intend on seeing this movie.

Some other relatively important films coming out this month are Warfare and The Accountant 2, which I surprisingly have not seen a lot of promos for in terms of The Accountant. Oh well, thanks for reading.

Last Minute Music Reviews

  So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
