American Idol 2025 Day 4: Top 10

So after one HELL of a show last night, the contestants had to say goodbye to another 6 people. Yesterday was a little hard to rank, even now I'm not too sure with my final results. Certain people who I wanted to be "great" were just "good" while others surprised me. But I was able to come up with somewhat of a decision, I'm just not so sure about it.

Eliminated Contestants;

Isaiah Misailegalu- sorry dude
Drew Ryn- bummer, I liked her
Olivier Bergeron- he was boring anyway
Baylee Littrell-😭
Zaylie Windsor- don't care
Victor Solomon- well this sucks

It's time for the ranking;

Worst Performance: Josh King

Never Gonna Give You Up-Rick Astley
What on Earth was this fool thinking🤦🏾‍♀️

#13: John Foster

Neon Moon- Brooks & Dunn
Just boring, that's it

#12: Slater Nalley

This Ain't It- Jason Isbell
He was fine

#11: Breanna Nix

The Show Must Go On- Queen
This song might've been a bit too big for her

#10: Kolbi Jordan

I'm Every Woman- Chaka Khan
Whitney's version was better

#9: Mattie Pruitt

In The Stars- Benson Boone
She was fine

#8: Gabby Samone

Don't Rain On My Parade From Funny Girl
Arrangement sucked

#7: Filo

Skyfall From Skyfall
His highest placement so far

#6: Che

Jealous Guy- John Lennon
Probably his best to date

#5: Desmond Roberts

Titanium- David Guetta Ft. Sia
Where was this you throughout the competition

#4: Thunderstorm Artis

I Love You- Billie Eillish
Good song for him

#3: Canaan James Hill

Stand- Donnie McClurkin
He was good, but I wanted him to be great. Especially with this song

#2: Jamal Roberts

Try A Little Tenderness- Otis Redding
Runner-up solely because he's been #1 twice

Best Performance: Amanda Barise

Ain't No Way- Aretha Franklin
She sang the HELL out of that song. But she's probably going home next week

Tune in next week. Thanks For Reading.

American Idol 2025 Thoughts: Day 1

American Idol  has officially reached its live shows so that means it's time to start the commentaries. For those of you who didn't track these last year, here's an explanation; I will be saying my thoughts on the contestants and their performances. In typical 'me' fashion, I will rank each performance to #1. But unlike my normal lists, this will be from worst to best.  This will be starting the following week as today is just an introduction. Our Top 24 has been chosen and they are as follows;     Canaan James Hill (Platinum)             Gabby Simone  Zaylie Windsor                         Mattie Pruitt  Thunderstorm Artis                  Drew Ryn  Che                                     ...

Introduction

Bio My name is Naomi Marie Elidios Chadwick. I was born in San Diego, California, but I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I pretty much have a traditional family, which involves happily married parents, 1 younger sister, and an older brother. I was raised Christian, and I continue to practice Christianity to this day. This is not a spiritual blog but some of the content that I post is influenced by my faith. Every now and then I will post Christian content as well, just not always (except with Billboard ). The picture you see up above is me at the airport with my father after I graduated from AmeriCorps NCCC after 10 months of community service. In response I received a congressional award for community service. I've always been really proud of that. I was diagnosed with Asperger's (a form of Autism) around the age of 6, but I was not informed of my diagnosis until I was 12. I'm very into movies and television (animation especially), and pop culture as a whole, and I...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
