American Idol 2025 Day 2: Top 24

 

I would like to say that for the first week of live shows, a good majority of contestants either did REALLY good or better than they should have. I personally was very impressed with the last 2 days. With that being said, I still gotta rank. Today I will be ranking every single performance from worst to best. This ranking is solely based on my opinion. If you have not read last week's introduction, I highly suggest you read that first before this ranking; 

Worst Performance Of The Week: Baylee Littrell

Happy- Pharrell

This really kills me. Not sure what he was thinking with this song choice

#23: Josh King

I'm Still Standing- Elton John

Him and Baylee equally sucked. But at least this song was more in Josh's league

#22: Olivier Bergeron 

I'm Not Okay- Jelly Roll

He's kind of bland to me

#21: Desmond Roberts

Do I Do- Stevie Wonder

Needs to calm down a little

#20: John Foster

Callin' Baton Rouge- Various

Also kind of bland

#19: Kyana Fanene

I Am- Stan Walker

She was fine, that's it

#18: MKY

Adorn- Miguel

Cheesy as expected

#17: Victor Solomon

That's My Kind of Night- Luke Bryan

A lot of hip action

#16: Penny Samar 

Good Luck Babe- Chappell Roan

She likes a lot of Chappell Roan

#15: Zaylie Windsor

Heart Of Glass- Blondie

Decent enough

#14: Isaiah Misailegalu

You Can Have It All- Maoli

Not amazing but still relatively good

#13: Drew Ryn

I'm With You- Avril Lavigne 

Good job

#12: Filo

Who's Lovin' You- Jackson 5

Fine at the beginning, tried too hard at the end

Ceilings- Lizzy McAlpine

She was actually pretty good

#10: Kolbi Jordan

New Attitude- Patti LaBelle

Still doing a lot, but an improvement from the previous performance

#9: Ché

Master Blaster (Jammin')- Stevie Wonder

Shame on Desmond for letting a white Australian boy do better at Stevie than him

Over The Rainbow From The Wizard Of Oz

Way better than he should've been

#7: Mattie Pruitt

Wide Awake- Former Judge Katy Perry

Way better than she should've been

#6: Amanda Barise

Defying Gravity From Wicked

Horrible arrangement, but she did good

#5: Thunderstorm Artis

Is This Love- Bob Marley

Okay you're starting to piss me off 😡

Still Rolling Stones- Lauren Daigle

Despise the artist, but good job

#3: Canaan James Hill

Took me back to my childhood. To God Be The Glory🥰
