#8: Violet, Dash, & Jack-Jack Parr- The Incredibles
Violet and Dash are pretty much your typical brother and sister; constantly bickering without a moment of peace. Without a doubt, the biggest example of this is one of the movie's best scenes; the dinner scene where Dash wasted no time mocking his sister over her high school crush Tony. That might possibly be my favorite scene in the movie (yes even over Where's My Supersuit). Though we barely see tender moments between the 2, it's obvious that when it gets down to the wire they're willing to protect each other. Also there was that moment where Dash said Don't Touch My Sister. Jack-Jack's just a baby and initially there wasn't much to him until the sequel where we see his powers fully fleshed-out. Hilariously, he's the one to save his mother from mind control. There's no denying that these 3 are an absolute delight to watch almost every time they're on screen.
#7: Margo, Edith, & Agnes- Despicable Me
When we first meet our "gurls", they are in the unfortunate position of being orphans, with the owner of the orphanage being the absolute worst. Margo is the responsible oldest, Edith is the trouble-making and tomboy-ish middle child (yet she wears pink), while Agnes is the sweet-natured but naive youngest with her naive nature causing her to instantly like Gru. The girl's lives change forever when they are adopted by Gru. And though this comes off to a rocky start, they eventually begin to grow on him. Not only has Gru become fiercely protective of them, but they gain both a mom and a new sibling out of this. Gru Jr. is a personality of his own showing not to be too fond of his dad before eventually warming up to him (kind of like his oldest sister). But I think what stands out the most about these characters is the fact that they represent Gru's humanity.
#6: Ruffnut & Tuffnut Thorston- How To Train Your Dragon
Probably the dumbest characters on this list, Ruffnut and Tuffnut make us laugh almost every time they're on screen. These idiotic twins waste no time either bickering with each other or getting into dumb shenanigans with other characters. To be honest, I don't really have much to say about these characters considering there isn't much to them aside from their stupidity. And that's not a bad thing, they're meant to be comic relief. I think Ruffnut's dumbest moment was during the second movie with her obvious unreciprocated crush on Eret. Her brother is stupid pretty much every time he's on screen showing little to no intelligence whatsoever. Ruffnut barely has a brain too, but in my opinion she had some moments where she was at least a little bit competent. If there are moments where these 2 had a little bit of depth (aside from Stoick's funeral) then clearly I missed it. But either way these guys are total morons, and we love it.
#5: Hiro & Tadashi Hamada- Big Hero 6
Now I probably should not have put the Hamadas this high considering we don't get very far into their relationship before unfortunately losing Tadashi. But what we did get was still very poignant and sweet. It's obvious from the start how much Tadashi loved his brother, hence the reason there were times he pushed him to go harder in terms of Hiro's abilities. Hiro obviously relied on that to an extent and of course looked up to his brother. He continued looking up to him even after his death. And I'm not gonna bring up the Hamadas without mentioning Tadashi's video. That was easily the best scene in the movie and arguably the saddest. It is a bummer that we didn't get to see much of Hiro and Tadashi's relationship, but that also makes what we did see even sweeter and more impactful. And knowing that Hiro is continuing his brother's legacy even after he's gone is really comforting.
#4: Kenai, Denahi, & Sitka- Brother Bear
As tragic as the Hamadas are, these three are easily the most tragic characters on this list. The trio consists of the typically responsible oldest Sitka, the rather obnoxious middle Denahi, and the impulsive youngest Kenai. The Hell starts when Sitka sacrifices himself to protect his brothers from a bear (Koda's mom) and dies as a result. Things get even worse when Kenai takes it upon himself to go after the bear and succeeds. A very disappointed Sitka turns Kenai into a bear to teach him a lesson, but Denahi is left to believe that both of his brothers are dead and he takes it upon himself to kill the bear responsible (unaware that he's hunting Kenai). Denahi may have been a jerk, but this movie really put him through the ringer and he didn't deserve that. Now on the bright side, Kenai gained a new brother through Koda. And with Denahi's support, he decided to remain a bear to atone for his mistake. Good for him.
#3: Mufasa & Scar- The Lion King
This is the only negative relationship on this list, and the reasons are very obvious. The sibling rivalry is obviously due to Scar's bitterness towards his brother inheriting a son to take over as ruler of Pride Rock after Mufasa. Mufasa himself appears to still care about his brother even after all their issues. But unfortunately he has that thrown in his face in that iconic but traumatic moment where Scar betrays and murder's his brother and tries to kill his nephew (but fails). So yeah, it's kind of obvious how much Scar sucks as a person. Now we did see more to the story in the origin remake Mufasa, but literally no one asked for that and it still doesn't justify Scar's actions. Thankfully Scar receives consequences for his actions. But there's no denying that this is easily the more bitter, hateful and toxic sibling dynamic on this list.
#2: Lilo and Nani- Lilo & Stitch
Though the Brother Bear trio are our most tragic siblings on this list, Lilo and Nani come to a very close second. The original Lilo & Stitch kicks off with the sisters losing their parents in a car accident, leaving the oldest and inexperienced Nani custody over her baby sister Lilo. It also doesn't help that Nani is in danger of losing Lilo to child protection services. Lilo may be problematic, but what the Hell do you expect? Her parents just died, Nani barely knows what she's doing and she's constantly being bullied by her classmates. I don't blame her for acting out. And poor Nani is trying so hard to be the best she can be for Lilo, but no matter how hard she tries something always goes wrong and it's not fair. Stitch may have been a handful at first, but he's also the best thing that's ever happened to them. At the end of the day, Nani and Lilo only have each other and have one of the strongest relationships on this list, only second to my #1.
Like always, here are some honorable mentions.................

Leo, Raph, Donnie, & Mikey- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem -Honorary #11
#1: Anna & Elsa- Frozen
Okay, I know Frozen is somewhat overrated but you can't deny that the relationship between Anna and Elsa is incredibly strong. Yes they went through a difficult patch with Elsa accidentally freezing Anna's head and later her heart. But the woman initially had zero control over her powers and only pushed Anna away out of wanting to protect her. Anna's loyalty to her sister even after everything is truly remarkable. Even in her dying moments and right when she's about to find Kristoff, she chooses to protect her sister from Hans briefly losing her life as a result. Hell even that alone was enough to melt her frozen heart. That's love. This also helped Elsa gain full control over her powers. Say what you want about Frozen, but I was incredibly amazed by the power of these two's relationship. And no sibling's relationship is perfect (trust me). But at the end of the day they're still your sibling and you can always rely on them when you need to. Anna and Elsa are a true example of that.
