Big Releases For February 2025

2 months into the year and time for new movies;

 Love Hurts- February 7

Now, I've only ever seen promos for this on TV given that I didn't go to the movies as often as normal last month. I don't see Ke Huy Quan as a box-office draw, but I'm not sure if I see this flopping either. I'm also not sure where this will stand in terms of critics, and I personally have no intention in seeing this movie.

 Captain America: Brave New World- February 14

This one is a difficult case. Apparently, Anthony Mackie has been running his mouth lately and now people might possibly be sour towards this movie. Because of this, I'm not exactly sure how I feel about seeing this movie. If the box-office is good, then I'll see it. If not, then forget about it. I do strangely see critics liking this, but we'll see what happens.

 The Monkey- February 21

I'm not sure how I feel about this, and I'm most likely not going to see it (though that could possibly change). However the movie doesn't look necessarily bad, so I do see critics liking this. Same goes with audiences, but at the same time you never really know nowadays.

The only other big release is Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, and I'm not sure why Hollywood felt we needed yet another Bridget Jones movie. Thanks For Reading

American Idol 2025 Thoughts: Day 1

  American Idol  has officially reached its live shows so that means it's time to start the commentaries. For those of you who didn't track these last year, here's an explanation; I will be saying my thoughts on the contestants and their performances. In typical 'me' fashion, I will rank each performance to #1. But unlike my normal lists, this will be from worst to best.  This will be starting the following week as today is just an introduction. Our Top 24 has been chosen and they are as follows;     Canaan James Hill (Platinum)             Gabby Simone  Zaylie Windsor                         Mattie Pruitt  Thunderstorm Artis                  Drew Ryn  Che                                     ...

Introduction

Bio My name is Naomi Marie Elidios Chadwick. I was born in San Diego, California, but I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I pretty much have a traditional family, which involves happily married parents, 1 younger sister, and an older brother. I was raised Christian, and I continue to practice Christianity to this day. This is not a spiritual blog but some of the content that I post is influenced by my faith. Every now and then I will post Christian content as well, just not always (except with Billboard ). The picture you see up above is me at the airport with my father after I graduated from AmeriCorps NCCC after 10 months of community service. In response I received a congressional award for community service. I've always been really proud of that. I was diagnosed with Asperger's (a form of Autism) around the age of 6, but I was not informed of my diagnosis until I was 12. I'm very into movies and television (animation especially), and pop culture as a whole, and I...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
