Vengeance Most Fowl Review

Technically speaking, this movie came out last year in Britain. But it became available to the US just 4 weeks ago via Netflix, so here we are. The idiotic Wallace creates yet another genius invention, a robotic gnome named Norbot. Unfortunately for him, the now incarnated Feathers McGraw (AKA: the penguin from The Wrong Trousers) takes his opportunity for revenge and takes complete control of the robot, making it do bad things and painting Wallace as a criminal. Like always, Gromit has to be the one to clean up the mess.

I really enjoyed this movie. I don't it hold it to as high a regard like others, but I understand why others do. I think the best thing about the movie is that technically speaking, it's about the dangers of AI without being to preachy. The point it was trying to make was obvious, but it made its point in a fun, sometimes intense, and even heartwarming way. The film makes its point without being obnoxious and in your face. This movie also did an amazing job at connecting this and The Wrong Trousers. Feathers is a brilliant individual, and his plan was incredibly well written. In a weird way, this movie made The Wrong Trousers even better, which says a lot considering it's already an AWESOME short. So the fact that this made an already amazing short even better is incredible.

Characters were great as always. In terms of older ones, Mackintosh (the idiot cop from Curse Of The Were-Rabbit) also returns along with Feathers. and was as oblivious as ever. In terms of newer characters, I enjoyed Mukherjee. She was likeable and funny enough. She's also 10 million times smarter that Mackintosh will ever be (even he acknowledged that in the movie). Like always with Wallace & Gromit material, Gromit is my favorite. He puts up with WAY to much crap from Wallace.

This is NOT better than Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, but it is indeed a worthy follow-up. If Feathers does return, Gromit should be ready. Thanks For Reading

American Idol 2025 Thoughts: Day 1

American Idol  has officially reached its live shows so that means it's time to start the commentaries. For those of you who didn't track these last year, here's an explanation; I will be saying my thoughts on the contestants and their performances. In typical 'me' fashion, I will rank each performance to #1. But unlike my normal lists, this will be from worst to best.  This will be starting the following week as today is just an introduction. Our Top 24 has been chosen and they are as follows;     Canaan James Hill (Platinum)             Gabby Simone  Zaylie Windsor                         Mattie Pruitt  Thunderstorm Artis                  Drew Ryn  Che                                     ...

Introduction

Bio My name is Naomi Marie Elidios Chadwick. I was born in San Diego, California, but I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I pretty much have a traditional family, which involves happily married parents, 1 younger sister, and an older brother. I was raised Christian, and I continue to practice Christianity to this day. This is not a spiritual blog but some of the content that I post is influenced by my faith. Every now and then I will post Christian content as well, just not always (except with Billboard ). The picture you see up above is me at the airport with my father after I graduated from AmeriCorps NCCC after 10 months of community service. In response I received a congressional award for community service. I've always been really proud of that. I was diagnosed with Asperger's (a form of Autism) around the age of 6, but I was not informed of my diagnosis until I was 12. I'm very into movies and television (animation especially), and pop culture as a whole, and I...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
