One Of Them Reviews

I did not think much of this movie when the trailers were released. I just saw it as Keke Palmer being annoying (like most of the time) and SZA making a sad attempt at acting. Palmer's character works as a waitress and lives with her best friend, who's a total MORON! When SZA makes the idiotic mistake of letting her boyfriend handle their rent money, the duo now have to come up with a new payment before the deadline while also dealing with a neighborhood bully and Palmer's upcoming job interview all in one day.

Never judge a trailer by its cover, this movie was actually really good. I was genuinely surprised that it was actually funny and not stupid. The movie mainly relied on Palmer and SZA's chemistry, and they both did a pretty good job. Not only that, but both characters went through actual growth as well. Katt Williams like always was an idiot in this, and also my favorite. Janelle James (Ava from Abbott Elementary) was also stupid as hell, but HILARIOUS. This was basically the girl version of Friday. It's NOT as good as Friday (not even close), but it held up in it's own right.

Fun movie, highly recommend it. Thanks For Reading

American Idol 2025 Thoughts: Day 1

American Idol  has officially reached its live shows so that means it's time to start the commentaries. For those of you who didn't track these last year, here's an explanation; I will be saying my thoughts on the contestants and their performances. In typical 'me' fashion, I will rank each performance to #1. But unlike my normal lists, this will be from worst to best.  This will be starting the following week as today is just an introduction. Our Top 24 has been chosen and they are as follows;     Canaan James Hill (Platinum)             Gabby Simone  Zaylie Windsor                         Mattie Pruitt  Thunderstorm Artis                  Drew Ryn  Che                                     ...

Introduction

Bio My name is Naomi Marie Elidios Chadwick. I was born in San Diego, California, but I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I pretty much have a traditional family, which involves happily married parents, 1 younger sister, and an older brother. I was raised Christian, and I continue to practice Christianity to this day. This is not a spiritual blog but some of the content that I post is influenced by my faith. Every now and then I will post Christian content as well, just not always (except with Billboard ). The picture you see up above is me at the airport with my father after I graduated from AmeriCorps NCCC after 10 months of community service. In response I received a congressional award for community service. I've always been really proud of that. I was diagnosed with Asperger's (a form of Autism) around the age of 6, but I was not informed of my diagnosis until I was 12. I'm very into movies and television (animation especially), and pop culture as a whole, and I...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
