Random Music Reviews

While most songs I listened to this year I learned about through Billboard, these ones I randomly heard about through the internet without properly reviewing them like I usually do. So, here's their reviews now;

 Espresso- Sabrina Carpenter

Yeah, I'm a little late in reviewing this. I don't love the song, but I understand why people love the song. It is incredibly fun, the beat will get you pumped, and the lyrics are actually pretty catchy. The song itself just explodes with personality and it shows how Carpenter finally found her ground with what type of artist she is. So I see why it's popular.

 Beautiful Things- Benson Boone

What pleases me the most about this song is that I'm pleasantly surprised that American Idol alumni Benson Boone was actually able to make a name for himself unlike most now a days. Good for him.  And every now and then I have a soft spot for Alternative Rock type songs, this is pretty much the case with this one. I like this song.

Thanks For Reading.

First Day Of 2024/2025 Awards Race

  It is about that time of year again where Hollywood gives out its most prestigious awards to most of the time the least deserving. But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna pay attention like always. But this year we will be shaking things up a little. Allow me to explain; Here's How This Works: Each year, I will have a target subject I'm rooting for this season. When the nominations for each award show are announced, I will do a small commentary on whether or not the subject has a chance of winning. However, this year instead of focusing on just the target, I will also be focusing on those I think are frontrunners in different categories for the season as a whole, whether I'm rooting for them or not.  I will most likely say a last minute thought the day before the award show. I will be tracking down all the way up to the big dogs: THE OSCARS. The Awards: We will be focusing on 5 awards; -The Golden Globes -The BAFTA's -The Critics Choice -The SAG Awards and Of Cour...

Red One & The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

I present to you, a Christmas Double Review. Red One centers on The Rock and Captain America trying to find J.K. Simmons (Santa) after he's been kidnapped. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever  is obviously based on the book of the same name and of course involves throwing a Christmas pageant with some of the worst kids in existence.  Red One This was a very strange movie. I don't hate it as much as others do, but I see why people hate it. I will admit there were some parts that were a little too ridiculous and I didn't laugh as much as I would've liked. Also, with all due respect to Kiernan Shipka, she was not a good casting for the main villain. Her performance just didn't work for me. She wasn't intimidating at all, and she still looks like a child. I'm sorry but I just could not take her seriously. But I also feel it had some heartwarming moments as well, particularly involving Chris Evans' character and his son. I wouldn't say this movie was good, bu...
