Big Releases For December 2024

Last month and movies of the year;

 Kraven The Hunter- December 13

Great, yet another spinoff from Sony's Spider-Man universe. That's just what the world needs. I of course have no intention in seeing this, looks kind of stupid. I'm not really sure where it stands in box-office as I do see people being curious. But at the same time I also see it crashing and burning like Madame Webb. This is definitely not gonna be popular with critics.

 Sonic The Hedgehog 3- December 20

Look, I'm not a Sonic fan, so it should come as no surprise that I have no intention in seeing this movie. However, I definitely know that it's going to be a box-office draw as the previous Sonic movies were. Also like the previous movies, it's gonna do well with critics, just not as a masterpiece or anything.

 Mufasa: The Lion King- December 20

No one even asked for this movie, so why should I waste my time on it. I also don't trust what they may or may not do with Mufasa's story. Not that I think they'll ruin his character, but you never really know. I'm not really sure where critics will stand on this, but I do see this being a box-office draw.

 Nosferatu- Christmas

I sure as Hell ain't seeing this, way too creepy. Also I feel it was kind of a jerk move to release this movie on Christmas of all days for personal reasons. Critics already love the movie and I see this being a box-office draw, just not on the day of its release.

 A Complete Unknown- Christmas

As you can see, this will also be releasing on Christmas. Bob Dylan really didn't need a biopic, nor did we need one. But here we are. With that being said, I do intend on seeing this. I don't really know where critics will stand on this and I don't really see it being a box-office draw.

Last Minute Music Reviews

  So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
