Ridiculous (And I Love It)

So almost a week ago, I went to see The Fall Guy with my dad. Loosely based on the TV show of the same name, Colt Seavers is a stuntman who suffered a nasty accident resulting in him quitting. He returns a little over a year later when his girlfriend directs her first movie, only to find himself at the center of a conspiracy.

This movie was HILARIOUS from start to finish. It's nothing amazing plot-wise and according to my dad it is a departure from the original series (I've never seen it, so I don't know, or care). But the movie wasn't really made to be serious, it was made to be fun, and that is exactly what it was. I'm strangely developing an application for Ryan Gosling (not that I hated him or anything, I just never really cared for him). He was awesome (his character really needs a vacation though) and his chemistry with Emily Blunt (whom I've always loved) was perfect. Basically the whole surprisingly small cast stood out in their own way. We got a cameo appearance from the original "Fall Guy" Lee Majors, which was a very nice touch

I like that the movie pays tribute to the stunt-doubles in the industry. And considering all the crazy things they have to due, they deserve all the credit they can get. The stunts in the movie themselves were some of the craziest I've ever seen in a movie and it's INSANE that people get paid to nearly kill themselves (Hell, some of them actually have). So if there's any group of people in the film industry that really deserve to be recognized (and need a vacation), it's stunt doubles.

I do highly recommend this movie if you're looking for a good time. Thanks For Reading

Last Minute Music Reviews

So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
