American Idol Day 5: Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Yesterday, Idol had the remaining contestants pay tribute to inductees of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, which includes one of the judges, Mr. Lionel Ritchie. Only 2 contestants were eliminated last night and they are as follows;

Jordan Anthony- Don't Ever Do A Whitney Song AGAIN!

Nya- Bummer, but I'm not surprised.

Both were judges choice, so I'm not surprised they didn't last long. Anyway, now it's time for the ranking. There was a lot of Whitney covered last night to the point where I was surprised Nya didn't do Whitney, so I was on edge A LOT;

#12: McKenna Faith Breinholt

Hard To Say I'm Sorry- Chicago

It's like her and Jayna are switching places

#11: Emmy Russell

I Can't Make You Love Me- Bonnie Raitt

Please relax, you're making me nervous

#10: Mia Matthews

Those Memories Of You-  Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris

Like always, she's fine. That's it

#9: Julia Gagnon

Run To You- Whitney Houston

Look man, you're good. But you're no Whitney

#8: KB Richins

I Hate Myself For Loving You- Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

This was probably her best performance and the most confident I've seen her

#7: Will Moseley

Night Moves- Bob Seger

He was good, probably his best

#6: Kayko

High & Dry- Radiohead

Same as Will

#5: Jack Blocker

Don't Think Twice, It's Alright- Bob Dylan

Good as always

That was ADORABLE! 💖

Glory To God, He Made It Another Week!

Her best performance to date in my opinion

Last Minute Music Reviews

  So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
