Big Releases For March

Okay, it's March's turn for movie releases and It looks like we've got quite a few.

Dune: Part Two- 2 Days Ago

Dune: Part Two was supposed to come out last year, but the stupid Hollywood strikes screwed everything up and it was released on March 1. I am very mixed on whether or not I want to see this because I don't trust it's take on spirituality. The only reason I would see it is for Austin Butler. So far, critics are loving it (surprisingly more than the first movie) and it's doing fine so far in the box-office.

Kung Fu Panda 4- March 8

I have seen every single film in the Kung Fu Panda franchise. I love the first 2 while the 3rd one is meh. I am DEFINETLEY seeing this, I want to know what else they can do with these characters, because in my opinion they've done pretty much everything with Po and the others (except kill one off, don't get any ideas). It's probably gonna do fine with its box-office as the franchise is already very popular. The franchise has never really gone sour with critics, but I'm not sure if the movie will be held as high a standard as the first 2.

 Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire- March 22

I'm not a Ghostbusters fan, I've never seen any of the movies, and I don't care enough to. I most likely am not going to see this movie, but we'll see what happens. The new Ghostbusters franchise has always been kind of mixed in terms of critics and box-office, so I'm not really sure how it will do in either category.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire- March 29

Again, not a Godzilla or King Kong fan so I will definitely not be seeing this movie. Also, did we really need another Godzilla movie after Godzilla Minus One apparently set a new standard? This is probably gonna due fine at the box-office because it's freakin' Godzilla and King Kong. But I don't see critics raving about this, especially considering both character's history of mixed reviews and of course the pressure of living up to Godzilla Minus One.

Thank for reading.

Last Minute Music Reviews

So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
