Big Releases For February

It's February! New Month, New Movies!  Here are the lucky 3 we will be discussing today:

 Argylle- Tomorrow

I think I might've seen the first trailer for this when I saw Wish. Either that or Napoleon. I'm gonna be honest, the second I saw Dua Lipa in it, I immediately knew it was gonna be stupid. Looks like critics agree as it is currently getting mixed to negative reviews. I have no intention in seeing this movie and I'm not sure how it will do at the box-office.

 Madame Web- February 14

I've only seen television trailers for this film, I've never cared enough to see the full trailer. With the bits and pieces I have seen, I think it's safe to say that this movie also looks kind of stupid, and some of it's visuals look unfinished (kind of like Wish, but not as bad). Also, due to Fifty Shades Of Trash, I cannot take Dakota Johnson seriously as a lead actress (most of that is not even her fault). If the movie surprises people and actually turns out to be good and a box-office success, that's great. But I doubt that very seriously. But just to see if all the fuss is true, I will attend this movie.

Bob Marley: One Love- February 14

I don't remember when exactly I saw the trailer for this, but I do remember thinking "Did Bob Marley really need a biopic?". But low and behold, he got one and I won't deny it actually looks pretty good. Considering this was directed by the same guy behind King Richard, the movie's probably gonna be fine in terms of critics. Box-office, I'm not so sure. It might do well due to it's subject matter, but who knows. I do plan on seeing this as well, and I'll definitely enjoy it more than Madame Web.

Last Minute Music Reviews

So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.   How It's Done - Huntrix (From KPop Demon Hunters ) I have been meaning to review this for a while, but I kept getting lazy. Like Golden , this song has g...

What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
