There was finally a change in the charts! Behold, long awaited new material for Billboard.





Yes, And?- Ariana Grande


So apparently Grande's been receiving a lot of negative press since 2020 and this song is an address towards that. The song is fine, that's pretty much it. The best thing about it is it's production, it sounds pretty clean in my opinion.  Overall, it's not super great, but it's not terrible at all.





 No Stressing- Damon Little Ft. Angie Stone

This song was also just fine. The production was decent but nothing really special. The best thing about this one is it's message about not letting what's going on in the world stress you out and ruin your joy, which is a mindset that I do not have. I wouldn't be surprised if in my case, this was #1 for a reason. But same with Grande, not super great or terrible in any way. But I will say that this is more relevant than Grande.

Last Minute Music Reviews

  So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1;   Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued.    Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. What The Hell Did I Even Watch!?!🤣

I think ever since Lady Gaga's performance in A Star Is Born , musicians have been trying to jump in on the band wagon. The Weekend is one of those musicians who's trying, and failing miserably. First he tried with The Idol , and we all saw how that crashed and burned. And now he decided to turn his newest album Hurry Up Tomorrow into a movie, where he plays a fictionalized version of himself. Oh yeah, Jenna Ortega and  Barry Keoghan are in this too.  The Weekend is obviously on this vendetta to prove to people that he can act, and it's getting kind of pathetic. The movie is just.....not good.  There's barely even a plot, it's just an elongated music video that involves The Weekend crying too much. Now, I will give him some credit for actually trying this time (unlike in The Idol ). But unfortunately, instead of coming off as a troubled musician, this felt like I was watching one of the 3-5 year-olds my mom deals with at her job. I'm aware that this movie was in...
