The Killer Was Decent Enough

I wouldn't necessarily say I was super interested in this movie. I just saw it on Netflix and just gave it a shot. When the nameless protagonist screws up an assassination attempt, his girlfriend is nearly killed, resulting in him going on a manhunt .

I didn't get into the movie as much as I'd hoped. In fact, the first act of the film was kind of slow and a little boring. But I pulled through. And though I was still less than impressed, it did have some really good and thrilling moments. The best part about the movie is it's kills. They were either very creative, or done in the most savage way possible. Michael Fassbender's nonchalant performance definitely helped with that. I really liked how the protagonist is nonchalant, but not when it came to his loved ones (his girlfriend). While he still didn't show much emotion, it was still apparent that he cared about her a lot, other wise this movie would not exist. But it does show that he's not completely heartless.

Overall, this movie was far from bad, but I didn't love it as much as I wanted to. Of all the action movies I've seen this year, this one is definitely my least favorite. But it was still decent.

American Idol has officially reached its live shows so that means it's time to start the commentaries. American Idol 2025 Day 2: Top 24

I would like to say that for the first week of live shows, a good majority of contestants either did REALLY good or better than they should have. I personally was very impressed with the last 2 days. With that being said, I still gotta rank. Today I will be ranking every single performance from worst to best. This ranking is solely based on my opinion. Last Minute Music Reviews

So here are some last minute reviews of songs that I've heard over the past few months that did not reach #1; Where Is My Husband - Raye This is incredibly fun and strangely catchy. While this is not officially a jazz song, this obviously has jazz influence and it works very well for this song. I will go ahead and admit that this is my introduction to Raya, I have not listened to Oscar Winning Tears . So far, I'm intrigued. Midnight Sun - Zara Larsson This song is kind of AWESOME. Not only is the production GORGEOUS, but it also has a very nice hook that goes smoothly with Larsson's voice. My sister actually recommended this song to me and I see why. Larsson does currently have a Grammy nomination for this. She's gonna lose, but I'm glad this song got recognized. If my sister see's this, thank you.
