Creed 3 Review

Day before Easter, me and my dad went to see "Creed 3". Not really out of anticipation but curiosity. So, what are my thoughts.

So when Donnie was a child, he and old childhood friend Damian "Diamond Dame" Anderson got involved in a fallout that resulted in Anderson getting sent to prison for 18 years. Fast-forward to the present, and Donnie has now retired from boxing and focusing on his family as well as training the next generation of boxers. Upon being released, Dame reconnects with Donnie wanting his help to continue in boxing. While that seems harmless at first, things soon got very ugly.

Like my last review (Quantumania, which also starred Majors), I don't really have much to say about this one. It was a good movie, just not great. To be honest, I didn't expect it to be great anyway, just decent. Also like the previous review subject, Majors was probably the best part of the movie. However, given his recent controversy, I'm not really sure if he was either acting like a butthole or he actually is one. Cause Dame was a real jerk, and so was Kang. I know everyone's innocent until proven guilty and we don't really know the full story, but I would also like to acknowledge how eerie it is that he's good at portraying a villain, and now is under fire domestic abuse. But I will also say that It does not automatically mean he's guilty, it's just ironic.

Other than that, nothing in the movie really stood out or pissed me off. I am aware that this is Michael B. Jordan's directorial debut. Not bad for his first, hopefully he'll continue to grow.

Introduction

Bio My name is Naomi Marie Elidios Chadwick. I was born in San Diego, California, but I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I pretty much have a traditional family, which involves happily married parents, 1 younger sister, and an older brother. I was raised Christian, and I continue to practice Christianity to this day. This is not a spiritual blog but some of the content that I post is influenced by my faith. Every now and then I will post Christian content as well, just not always (except with Billboard ). The picture you see up above is me at the airport with my father after I graduated from AmeriCorps NCCC after 10 months of community service. In response I received a congressional award for community service. I've always been really proud of that. I was diagnosed with Asperger's (a form of Autism) around the age of 6, but I was not informed of my diagnosis until I was 12. I'm very into movies and television (animation especially), and pop culture as a whole, and I...

My Top 10 Best Movies Of 2024 (Part 2)

So, now it’s time for the best list. This is obviously a list of what is in my opinion, the best movies of 2024. Before anything else, just a quick reminder that I have chosen not to review or rank the films  Mary  &  Dune: Part Two   due to my conflicting feelings on them. So you won’t see either of those 2 on this list. If you would like an explanation for 1 or both movies, there are 2 links down below. If there’s an acclaimed movie you were expecting to see on this list that you didn’t see, check out my “Movies You Won’t See” post through the link down below.  #10:  The Bikeriders God-honest truth, the main reason I saw this movie is because of my soft spot for Austin Butler. Though definitely not the strongest movie, this was really good. Its strong points were the performances and the twists. While Austin wasn’t THE standout, he did do a really good job and truly embraced his inner James Dean. The standout however was indeed Tom Ha...
